We invite you to book your table today and experience all that Officina offers.
Officina’s restaurant brings a simple, yet exhilarating menu from Michelin-star Chef Nicholas Stefanelli to DC’s newest neighborhood. Featuring handmade pastas, rotating vegetable sides and an impressive selection of prime meats, sourced from the first floor macelleria, the trattoria embraces the finest ingredients available to create modern interpretations of Italian classics. Set on the second floor, the Trattoria features an open kitchen layout and chef’s counter seating, with floor-to-ceiling windows and seasonal patio seating overlooking the bustling waterfront. Melding the contemporary with the traditional, the trattoria is perfect for celebrating the everyday.
Officina has a corkage fee of $50 per bottle.
You may bring in a maximum of two 750 ML bottles not available on our wine list per table.
Officina’s first floor cafe powers the neighborhood from early until late. Elevated above the mercato, mornings at the cafe feature housemade pastries, just-baked breads and a traditional Italian espresso bar. By afternoon, the menu transitions into a diverse selection of Italian street food favorites, Roman pizzas and classic cocktails, with Italian wines and imported beers on draft.
The cafe is reserved for walk-ins only.
Perched above the Potomac, Officina's rooftop offers an al fresco experience year-round. Inspired by the terraces of Rome and aperitivo culture, the Terrazza features a menu of seasonal cocktails, with an expansive champagne list. The Terrazza is also home to an adjacent private event space, offering a unique gathering spot with exceptional views of the Wharf.
Space on the terrazza is generally first-come, first-serve. Reservations are available for groups of 10 or more. On weekdays, the minimum party size to reserve space is 10, and on weekends, the minimum is 20. Please contact email@example.com to reserve.
The Salotto is home to DC's only Amaro Library, showcasing an extensive collection of vintage and contemporary Amari, alongside small-batch aperitivi and digestivi sourced from around globe. The cocktail list features an ever-changing selection of classically Italian elixirs, re-imagined with contemporary technique.
Bringing the energy, abundance and products of the world’s marketplaces to The Wharf, Officina’s Mercato is a collection of sought-after specialty items and unique ingredients that let you shop and cook like a chef. Designed for a boutique experience, the Mercato is home to D.C.’s premier butcher, or “macelleria,” situated alongside prepared gourmet items including fresh pastas, just-baked breads and pastries, imported olive oils and spices, plus a selection of housemade sauces, making it DC’s premier grocer. The Mercato is also home to its own wine shop, overseen by the award-winning beverage team at Officina, celebrating the beauty of Italian viticulture.
