Officina [oh · fee · she · nah], or “workshop,” is an Italian-inspired culinary collective from Chef Nicholas Stefanelli of Michelin-star Masseria. Officina is the realization of Chef Stefanelli's career-long dream to bring the very best of Italian gastronomy together under one roof. Our three-story space is home to an all day cafe, highly-curated marketplace featuring sought-after ingredients and prepared specialty items, a casual trattoria rooted in classic Italian cuisine, rare Amaro Library, versatile private event spaces, and year-round rooftop.

Job tasks and responsibilities include:
Work with the Chef de Cuisine to produce diversified menus in accordance with the restaurant’s policy and vision
Inspire new dishes which appeal to the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef whenever required
Discover talented chefs and train them in order to reach the high standards of the location
Train the auxiliary kitchen staff in order to provide best results in minimum time and using the maximum available resources
Supervise order and discipline in the kitchen during working hours
Maintain purchasing, inventory, and food cost standards
1+ years minimum of experience as a sous chef
1+ years management experience required
A passion for food and service
Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Capability to teach and mentor others
Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment
