Officina [oh · fee · she · nah], or “workshop,” is an Italian-inspired culinary collective from Chef Nicholas Stefanelli of Michelin-star Masseria. Officina is the realization of Chef Stefanelli's career-long dream to bring the very best of Italian gastronomy together under one roof.  Our three-story space is home to an all day cafe, highly-curated marketplace featuring sought-after ingredients and prepared specialty items, a casual trattoria rooted in classic Italian cuisine, rare Amaro Library, versatile private event spaces, and year-round rooftop.

Job tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Greet all guests with a warm smile, making eye contact

  • Use guests name/title when appropriate- personalizing the guest experience

  • Answer phones and take reservations according to availability

  • Collect and store menus, monitoring cleanliness

  • Answer all general questions about Officina

  • Keep an accurate count of guests in house to communicate with management

  • Successfully work as a team player in a dynamic team


  • 1+ years minimum of experience as a host in a restaurant setting

  • A passion for food and service

  • Proficient oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong, professional telephone demeanor

  • Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment
