Officina [oh · fee · she · nah], or “workshop,” is an Italian-inspired culinary collective from Chef Nicholas Stefanelli of Michelin-star Masseria. Officina is the realization of Chef Stefanelli's career-long dream to bring the very best of Italian gastronomy together under one roof. Job tasks and responsibilities include:
Assist in scheduling of hourly front of house employees
Manage opening and closing cash handling procedures
Supervise dining room floor and guest services
Communicate with chefs daily for menu updates
Assist in the training of new staff members
Successfully work as a team player in a dynamic team
1+ years minimum of experience as a manager in a restaurant setting, preferably in fine dining
A passion for food and service
Proficient oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multi-task while maintaining great attention to detail
Be able to maintain composure under pressure
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with chefs and all other employees
Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment
