Officina [oh · fee · she · nah], or “workshop,” is an Italian-inspired culinary collective from Chef Nicholas Stefanelli of Michelin-star Masseria. Officina is the realization of Chef Stefanelli's career-long dream to bring the very best of Italian gastronomy together under one roof.  Our three-story space is home to an all day cafe, highly-curated marketplace featuring sought-after ingredients and prepared specialty items, a casual trattoria rooted in classic Italian cuisine, rare Amaro Library, versatile private event spaces, and year-round rooftop.

Job tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Prepare a wide variety of high end Italian baked goods

  • Monitor stocks for baking ingredients and communicate discrepancies

  • Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking

  • Maintain a clean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards

Requirements:

  • 1+ years minimum of experience in the pastry and baking field

  • A passion for food and service

  • Knowledge of basic pastry and baking technique, including baking equipment

  • Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment
